::We stopped by Barrel on a Thursday when they were having one of their premium wine pairing dinners on recommendation of Chef Danny (who coincidentally did the cooking for the evening). The dinner was 6 courses with pairings and was excellent, along with the perfect sunset over the harbor. The staff really knew how to match wine with the varied dishes and we had samplings California, Chile, Australia and France. Our favorite was a buttery chardonnay that we had to get another glass of after dinner. With the quality of the dinner the price was very reasonable and if wine drinking is your jive there is no better place in Kralendijk that we came across.
